Changes to Zimmer and Goondi (affects ALL swooters)

Heya all.  I’m working on selling our 1/2 sim property at Goondi, and so the castle is now moved to Zimmer.  Zimmer is deeded to the -Exodus- group, not Exodus Enchanted, so in order to set your home there you’ll need to have the -Exodus- tag.  If you don’t have this tag already, you can get one from myself or Viola.  Once in Zimmer there are a number of areas you can visit via the teleporters. New areas have been added to Zimmer, including a weapons testing area, combat arena, the castle (obviously) a few skybox platforms and a sandbox.  NOTE however, use of the sandbox is for temporary use ONLY and your items MUST be removed within 48 hours or I’ll return them indescriminately!  This is not meant to be a permanant building platform!  If you need to rent land somewhere, let me know and we can arrange something.

Because Zimmer is on a LeTigre RC channel, it is mesh enabled with 64m prim support (provided they don’t roll us back again).  In order to view mesh, remember you need a mesh enabled viewer.  To build your own mega prims, you need a mesh enabled viewer or the latest build of Phoenix.

The teleporters throughout the sim are open to everyone to use EXCEPT the teleporter on the ground level inside the Enchanted Tree.  This is teleporter lays within the landing area, and is restricted to the -Exodus- group to help keep people out of restricted areas.  You must wear your -Exodus- tag to use the teleporter inside the tree.  They are simple enough to use, simply left-click the teleporters to cycle through the available locations, and then right-click sit to teleport to your chosen destination.

To access the castle you must wear your -Exodus- tag or security will kick you out (unless you are one of the few people on the pass list).  This area is not open to non-swooters, no exceptions, as there are plenty of other areas in the sim to hang out with friends.  Exodus Enchanted members will need to contact myself or Viola for an -Exodus- tag if they don’t have one already.

To better facilitate sandbox use, combat and weapons testing, auto return has been changed to 1 hour.  This way you can invite non swooters to participate in battle for an extended time.  Pushing and safety are on, so feel free to grief each other in the combat/testing areas only please.  I’ll repeat that in case you don’t understand… weapons and griefing tools are to be used only in the combat arena and weapons testing area, NOWHERE else on the sim please!  This includes big particle effects and rezzers.  It’s disruptive to those of us who use the sim to work, and it’s not fair if we need to leave our own land and use public sandboxes just so we can get stuff done!  Consider yourself warned, I’m fully prepared to use the ban list if I have to.

So now without further adieu, here are the landmarks you’ll need.  Remember that the landing area is on the ground level so if you’re using the castle landmark you’ll need to hit it again once you’re in the sim.

I’m sorry for the inconvenience of such a big change, however those who have been swooters in SL for the last year and a half or so should be used to it by now XD.
