Did you know that you could load the avatar 3D mesh into photoshop and work directly on the model? The proccess is fairly simple, and I’ve pre-configured some of the files to make it easier for you. Below you’ll find a download link and a video tutorial. You will need WinRar to uncompress the file, and Photoshop CS4 Extended or CS5 Extended to load and manipulate the 3D object.
The file is rather large and may take some time to downlaod.

So, so very good.
Thx ppl
Wow , this is great … thanks a lot.
But what do i do if i want to turn an image into a tattoo and the place where i want to put it is at a border crossing … like on the side of the thigh?
That’s a bit trickier. To get it on seamlessly, you’d need to either apply it to the material bottom, and nudge it around until it’s positioned properly, or use something like Multi Chan Hax: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1AyEuB0b6M&list=FL32mnGUeP68E&index=2
I love these thanks so much.. I have a question though are their any avatar 3d psd’s for mac ?
They are PSD files, which is a photoshop format and should work with photoshop regardless of the OS. If you have difficulties uncompressing the file because it was compressed with winrar, you might try 7zip instead.
